Write Down Your Stressors to Recover from Burnout

Write Down Your Stressors to Recover from Burnout

All of us have faced a worklump and feel, well, burned out. The Next Web recommends writing down your feelings to discover the true cause.

Once you realize you are burned out (we've got a guide here), a good way of moving on is to take an inventory of exactly what has got you stressed:

Write down everything in your life causing you stress and be honest. Next to each stressor, write down a way you can reduce that stress. Because we do such a good job of telling ourselves to ignore stress, writing this stuff down is usually our first chance to really let our brain begin to process.

Once you have that inventory written down, you'll be able to analyze what the actual cause—and solution—is.
