If you've ever wanted to make homebrew Sega Genesis games or play every ROM on an actual Genesis system, Chris McClelland shows you how it can be done.
In an extensive three part YouTube series, McClelland explains how the Genesis (or MegaDrive if you're in the UK) and it's game cartridges work while giving you a tutorial on how to modify the system's components. When it's all set up, you can modify game cartridges to give yourself infinite lives like a Game Genie or even develop your own custom homebrew games. The best part, though: you can load up every single Sega Genesis game ever released onto a single SD card and play them all on the real-deal system with an actual Genesis controller. For a list of everything you need and the necessary code, you can find it on McClelland's GitHub page. Everything can also be found in guide form here.
