Unless you've looked up or heard the pronunciation for every word you've ever read, chances are there are at least some words you're mispronouncing. Let's take a look at and share the most dreadful ones.
I think we've all been there, embarrassed after being corrected for mispronouncing a common word (mine is "solder." You mean not everyone pronounces it the way it's spelled? Thanks alot, bizarre English!), or peeved, as when people say "axed" instead of "asked." (I "axed" my girlfriend the other day...Nooooo!)
