Use Google Now to Set Alarms For Your Stop on Public Transit

Use Google Now to Set Alarms For Your Stop on Public Transit

Android: If you didn't already think Google Now was pretty awesome, here's yet another reason to love it. Google Now can sound an alarm when you get close to your stop while riding on public transit.

For obvious reasons, your mileage may vary with this particular feature. Theoretically Google Now should be able to track your GPS location or set an alarm based on the estimated time you will arrive, but some subways have no service and sometimes trains are late. Nothing beats being aware of your surroundings. But if you want a little extra nudge, Google Now can give you a ring when you're close.
