The "career objectives" statement is dead so don't waste a recruiter's time by listing it at the start, says Ruben Quintero, Medicare Broker Relations Manager. Instead, state the most pertinent qualifications for the job.
Replace Career Objective with Qualifications—The recruiter or decision maker is looking for someone that closely matches the job opening so make it easy for them by listing all of skills and experience at the very top of your resume. If they want to read the rest of your resume, they can, but they don't have to. You told them everything they needed to know.
Quintero says these qualifications should be a bullet-point summary for a quick read, and should address the requirements of the job you are applying for. The one other thing he says you should pay attention to in your CV is your employment history. Hit the link to know more.
