The Raspberry Pi is an incredible device, but when you get one the first thing you may need is a decent case. Last week we asked you for your favorites, then took at look at the five best Raspberry Pi cases. Now we're back to highlight the winner of our poll.
Voting was pretty tight all weekend, but in the last day or so of voting, the Short Crust managed to take the lead and hold it until the poll closed. It picked up over 32% of the vote, thanks partially to its sharp looks and attention to design as well as functionality.
Hot on its heels in second place with over 31% of the votes cast was the DIY Lego Case we featured, along with several of its myriad iterations, from space themes to Adventure Time, all of which give you a set of tools to make something really unique and personal. In third place with over 15% of the overall vote was the PiBow Case , a case with looks so good that many people consider it the unofficial "official" case for the Raspberry Pi. With over 14% of the overall vote, fourth place went to the UniPi Case and its all-aluminum, unibody design. Bringing up the rear with over 6% of the vote was the Apple II Raspberry Pi Case , which is creative, but definitely on the expensive and custom side.
