Use Location Based Reminders to Seek Out New Restaurants

Use Location Based Reminders to Seek Out New Restaurants

Having trouble thinking of new places to eat when you're out and about? Serenity Caldwell of Macworld recommends using location-based reminders for pinging yourself a list of restaurants you've been meaning to try.

Caldwell keeps a "Places to Eat" list in her reminders and categorizes certain restaurants for specific locations around town. You can do the same through location-based reminders, like those in Apple's Reminders app or Google Now. Whenever you enter an area that you selected on the map, you'll get hit with your pre made list of places you've been meaning to try, but haven't gotten around to yet. If you find you run into the same meal dilemma at a very specific time each day, you can also set that list to go off at a certain time and remind yourself right before dinner that there's still a lot of good food out there.
