Repair and Revive Your Gas Grill, Just In Time for Summer

Repair and Revive Your Gas Grill, Just In Time for Summer

If you have a gas grill that's been rusting away in the garage, it may need some TLC before you pull it out for summer barbecues. The Family Handyman has a step-by-step guide to repairing and reviving your old, broken down gas grill.

We've discussed tips for reviving an old charcoal grill, but as you'd expect, gas grills require a bit more work. Before you do anything, you'll want to disconnect the propane tank, then remove the grate and rocks (and replace them if they're old or covered in grease). From there you can test the igniter, clean the burner, and scrub out the interior. They even have some tips on painting it, if you want to keep it looking good.

Of course, if your grill is still in working condition, it may just need a good cleaning before you take it out for the summer. Hit the link below for the full guide at the Family Handyman.
