It's amazing the things you can repurpose into other things, like this generic '70s dresser that turned into a sizable desk.
Thrifty & Chic's Alicia got rid of the broken drawers and their framing, added particle board on top to increase the desktop surface area, painted the piece white, and added molding and baseboards. The desk has a purposely distressed look, and I bet most people wouldn't guess that it once was a dresser rescued from the donation pile.
